Justin Mize is somewhat known as an underdog, with many past successes throughout his career. By 17, he was already doing backflips and performing shows professionally. Traveling across the country, as well internationally, Justin has made a name for himself speaking at various events, while performing freestyle exhibitions through high school and college. Eventually in 2006, Justin was signed to the National AMA Arenacross team “Team Faith” led by Brian O’ Rouke with Arenacross champion Kevin Johnson. With this team, they conducted chaplaincy service at X Games, NBC’s Dew Tour and National Arenacross circuits. In pursuit to better his riding career, Justin moved to Oklahoma, training with the likes of “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram and Derek Cook, gaining exposure and professional riders to train alongside.

Yet in 2011, Justin began a 3-year break from riding to pursue other interests and finish his Master’s in Education. Yet in 2014, after missing what he loved growing up doing, he began riding once again picking up where he left off, smarter, better prepared, and more focused than his previous years. Now Justin Mize continues to push himself to be the best rider he can be, innovating the sport of FMX, while serving others to better the motocross community.
